Is Golden Years Activity Prompts worth buying?
Wait Wait, unless you already pay for ChatGPT Plus and will print and check a few pages yourself. The price is low and the puzzle range is wide, but it has not launched yet, we have not run the prompts, and we found no independent buyer reviews.
Large-print puzzle books for older readers are a crowded corner of Amazon KDP and Etsy, and this launch goes after it with prompts instead of an app. Golden Years Activity Prompts is a set of 330 ChatGPT prompts that the vendor says will produce word searches, crosswords, sudoku, mazes and memory pages at 16 pt and above. This review covers what the sales pages say, what they leave out, and who should wait for real buyer feedback. We have read the vendor's pages. We have not run the prompts.
PanReview Score
This review has no complete score yet, so no PanReview Score is shown.
The score is a weighted average of the five parts above. How we score
Pros
- Low entry price: $9.95 one-time for the front end
- Wide range for one price: word searches, crosswords, sudoku, mazes, scrambles, missing-vowel and saying puzzles, plus conversation pages
- The vendor says puzzles are built and checked by code, with answer keys included
- Output is specified as US Letter, black and white, 300 dpi, with no text under 16 pt apart from crossword square numbers
- You may sell the pages and books you make
- 30 whole-book prompts that each build one PDF of roughly 40 pages
Cons
- Needs ChatGPT with its Python tool, and the vendor recommends Plus, so there is a running cost outside the $9.95
- It is a prompt pack, so results depend on ChatGPT behaving the same way next month
- "Checked by code" is the vendor's own claim, and the same page tells you to check every page before selling
- An order bump and five upsells from $7 to $197 follow the front end
- The refund policy is linked but its terms are not shown on the sales page we read
- No independent buyer reviews yet, because it has not launched
Who it suits
- KDP and Etsy sellers who want large-print puzzle pages and are already comfortable using ChatGPT
- Activity coordinators, families, clubs and churches who want printable pages for their own use
- Buyers who will print and solve a few pages before they sell any
Who should pass
- Anyone who does not want to depend on a ChatGPT subscription
- Anyone who wants a finished app that builds a book without typing prompts
- Sellers who plan to publish without solving the puzzles and checking the answer keys
- Anyone looking for health or memory-care claims, because the vendor says the puzzles are not a medical product
What Golden Years Activity Prompts is
Golden Years Activity Prompts is a pack of 330 prompts for ChatGPT, sold by Anil Krishna on WarriorPlus. The vendor says it comes from the team behind Puzzley Kids and Tracey Kids. You paste a prompt into ChatGPT, attach a page-template file, and ChatGPT is meant to build the puzzle page, with an answer key, as a PNG and a PDF. The focus is large print for older readers. The page says text is no smaller than 16 pt, except the small numbers in crossword squares. It is not an app and not a service: the work happens inside your own ChatGPT account.
What is in the pack, and what we could not check
The vendor lists 60 word searches, 30 crosswords, 50 sudoku, 30 mazes, 30 word scrambles and 30 missing-vowel puzzles, plus 25 secret sayings and 10 finish-the-saying pages. The memory and conversation pages are 25 Remember When pages and 10 Let's Talk cards. There are also 30 whole-book prompts, each meant to produce one PDF of about 40 pages with a title page, activities and an answer section, across 30 themes. The central claim is that the puzzles are built and checked by code: every word is in the grid, every crossword crosses and every sudoku has one answer. We could not test that before launch. The same page warns that AI output can contain mistakes and tells buyers to check every page before printing or selling, so treat the claim as the vendor's, not ours.
The funnel: one bump and five upsells
After the $9.95 front end there is a $7 order bump (Holiday Pack) and five upsells: Plus at $27, Coloring Mega Pack at $47, Memory Care Edition at $67, Whole-Book Vault at $97 and Diamond at $197. Taking every step would cost about $452. We have not seen what is inside the upsells beyond their names. The front end already includes whole-book prompts and memory pages, so decide after you have tried it whether you need more of the same.
What it really costs and what you need
The front end is $9.95 once. Beyond that you need a ChatGPT account with its Python tool (sometimes shown as Code or Analysis), and the vendor says Plus works best, so budget for a monthly subscription if you do not already have one. You can sell the pages and books you make. You cannot resell, share or repackage the prompts or the template file. The vendor also says it cannot promise sales on any marketplace, and notes that Amazon KDP requires you to disclose AI-generated content when you publish.
How to test it before you rely on it
Once it is live, buy the front end only, run two or three different puzzle types and print them. Solve a sudoku and a crossword by hand against the answer key, search a word search for every listed word, and walk a maze from start to finish. Read the refund terms before you pay, and check a printout at actual size to confirm the 16 pt text is readable. If the same prompt gives you a bad page twice in a row, that tells you more than any sales video.

The bottom line
Golden Years Activity Prompts is a cheap way to try large-print puzzle pages if you already use ChatGPT Plus, and the range of puzzle types is wide for $9.95. It is also unlaunched, unverified by us, dependent on a third-party tool and followed by a long upsell ladder. Wait for the 13 November launch, look for buyer reports on whether the puzzles really check out, and test with the front end only.
